Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s Séries Sophisticated Hooker

The Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Sophisticated Hooker cigar is a unique blend with an intriguing name and a worthy cause. A portion of the proceeds from each box sold goes towards breast cancer research, which is fitting as the brand’s packaging features bright pink boxes, the official color of the breast cancer awareness movement. This cigar is a figurado, similar to the Hemingway series, but with its own distinct blend. It was first previewed at the Big Smoke Meets WhiskyFest in 2021 and is now available, although still in limited production. The Sophisticated Hooker has cedary and herbal flavors on the first puffs, but later reveals nutty, graham cracker sweetness with hints of red meat, black pepper, and caramel. The cigar finishes with a sweet and nutty taste. The name of the cigar is a nod to the fishing boat “Sophisticated Hooker” that owner and blender Carlos Fuente Jr. remembers from his youth.
