The San Cristobal Classic is a premium cigar brand owned by Ashton Distributors, known for its colorful parrot logo that appears on all its cigars. The brand made its debut in 2007, marking Ashton’s entry into the Nicaraguan cigar market. Prior to this, the company’s cigars were mostly produced in the Dominican Republic by the Fuente family. When Robert Levin, the owner of Ashton Distributors, decided to diversify, he turned to the Garcia family to produce his first Nicaraguan brand.
The San Cristobal brand includes five different blends, all of which are known for their rich and full-bodied flavors. This year, we returned to the original blend and were impressed by its depth of flavor, which includes notes of earth, dark chocolate, spice, and a hint of cinnamon.
